Every Day Activities
60 days is quite a long stay, and while you will be spending a lot of your time exploring the beauty of the countryside, tasting the town at local restaurants, and enjoy the amenities of your Sedona.Org vacation escape, there will be other, more mundane matters that need to be attended to.
Did you remember to fill your prescriptions when you were packing for this incredible adventure? If not, never fear, because as you might expect, Walgreens and CVS are abundant in Sedona, ensuring that your normal prescriptions can be transferred here with little or no problems. Our luxurious homes do not come stocked with food, but there are many groceries stores in the area that will have all your favorites, including Safeway, Bashas’, and Whole Foods; Whole Foods is associated with Amazon, so many of the foods you love can be delivered within two hours if you forget something or just aren’t ready to venture out to the grocery stores immediately upon your arrival.
Clark’s Market and Pharmacy is a local establishment that offers that old-fashioned friendly approach to selling groceries and may make you feel as if you are a part of the family. (Be sure to check out their butcher section; the meats are always fresh and juicy and many of our Sedona.org homes feature barbecue grills to char them over!) The Sedona Community Farmers Market, located at 2201 W State Route 89A in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot, is open every Sunday from 11 AM until 3 PM and features local produce, baked goods, and a variety of arts and crafts items destined to end up packed away in your suitcase!
Families traveling with children will be relieved to know that McDonald’s is here in town, and if you don’t see it at first, look a little harder. Our Sedona McDonald’s is the only franchise in the nation whose Golden Arches are actually TEAL in color! We think it adds a touch of sophistication to the international franchise, but the reason behind the teal is that our city managers felt the garish yellow of standard arches would clash with the peaceful beauty of the red rocks that surround the restaurant. In any case, when you become a short-term resident in Sedona, whatever you need we can help you find, ensuring your stay will be peaceful and memorable!
