Housed within the antique Spanish-style architecture of the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, Mountain Trails Gallery’s Sedona location hosts a number of award-winning artists, continuing a tradition spanning over thirty years of specializing in Western art.
From colorful landscape and lifestyle paintings to amazingly realistic sculptures, this gallery is sure to delight Western art connoisseurs of all types and mediums. They also hold receptions on every first Friday of the month (from 5:00pm to 8:00pm) that feature art with a unique theme and special exhibits, while providing viewers with refreshments. The gallery is regularly open daily, from 10:00am until 5:00pm, with the exception of major holidays.
Turquoise Tortoise Gallery
Founded in 1971, the Turquoise Tortoise Gallery is located in the heart of Sedona’s elite Gallery District. With an eclectic selection of Native American art and jewelry and contemporary Southwestern art, visitors who stop here will be able to take in the full experience of Western art through original fine art paintings and sculptures made from stone and bronze, as well as Native American war shirts, pottery, rugs woven in the Zapotec style, and stone jewelry with gold and silver settings. Turquoise Tortoise Gallery also holds monthly receptions from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on the first Friday of each month.
Rowe Fine Art Gallery
With a background in wildlife sculptures spanning over thirty years, famed sculptor Ken Rowe established the Rowe Fine Art Gallery with a focus on showcasing an array of traditional and contemporary Western art. Each artist is said to bring something different to the gallery, meaning that no two pieces are ever quite alike. Artist demonstrations take place in the gallery on a frequent basis, including the first Friday of every month.
