Welcome Home
The town of Cottonwood is a farming town with crops that include fruits, veggies, and pecans, but today, its sleepy peace is being rediscovered as an integral part of the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Offering a variety of wineries, including our personal favorite, the Pillsbury Wine Company Tasting Room, the homes we offer here tend to emit a farmhouse vibe. Large and beautiful, our Cottonwood vacation rentals grow from the landscape, offering a permanence and sense of home that welcomes everyone who visits. Step inside spaces that are filled with warmth and light, following the paths created by high-end flooring choices, maybe tile, maybe wood, but always clean and soft beneath bare feet.
The living rooms in Cottonwood definitely reflect the farming community, offering plush sofas soft enough for taking impromptu naps, fireplaces or wood-burning stoves. Winter nights can get chilly in the Arizona high country, and the flames will be greatly appreciated when the temperatures dip. Shelves lined with books, games, DVDs, and occasional pieces of art probably purchased in the shops of nearby Sedona add a comfortable style to the space, and windows that stretch from the floor to the roof help keep the beauty of the desert landscape close at hand. The red rocks that have made Sedona famous can also be found here, with the added advantage of fewer crowds to hinder your enjoyment of their beauty and magic, and some may be visible from the windows of your magical escape. Pluck a book off the shelf and read until the natural life fades, then turn on the task lamp that is nearby and read some more, because as every bookworm knows, there is never enough time to read in real life, but on vacation all you have is time. State-of-the-art televisions may be smart ones, offering your favorite streaming shows, or they may be cable access, but all will be modern and offer large screens with crystal-clear pictures that will make you feel like you have courtside seats to the big Suns game! (We love our sports, and although Cottonwood isn’t large enough to have its own professional teams, we, like every Arizonan, claim the Phoenix Suns as our home team!)
The dining rooms of our Cottonwood AZ vacation rentals are much like the ones you enjoy in your own home. Comfortable areas, surrounded by windows, these are the spots where we play games, devour meals, and on lazy mornings, sip coffee while being mesmerized by the views outside the window! Located within steps of our fully equipped kitchens, you won’t have to worry about the food growing cold when you carry your freshly prepared dinner to the table, and because our kitchens are gourmet escapes, you may end up cooking more than you thought you might on vacation! High-end appliances, countertops of stone or tile, and windows that look out onto the desert landscape will bring a gourmet chef’s experience to the simplest of meals, but if you choose to just keep the coffee brewing (coffee makers are provided) and the wine and beer chilled (some may offer wine chillers to be used for specifically that purpose), you will receive no judgment from us! Our job at Sedona.Org is to make your Arizona adventures as comfortable and relaxing as possible, and there is a plethora of tasty restaurants in the area that will keep you and your traveling family well fed and happy!
Throughout our Cottonwood havens, guests will enjoy the feel of the Southwest represented in their décor and design styles. Colorful art on the walls and on shelves may have been purchased at the shops of Sedona, tile floors may be Saltillo, a terra cotta tile handmade in Mexico, and the colors chosen for walls, fabrics, and furnishings may be from the same color schemes that decorate our natural landscape. Reds, tans, even the greens of our state cactus, the saguaro, provide a neutral and soothing décor.
