Come celebrate the next generation of national musicians with the annual Winterfest put on by Chamber Music Sedona. This yearly event takes place in January and brings intimate performances at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. Expect to find acclaimed students and young musicians taking the stage to show off their hard training in music. The 2020 Winterfest is now just around the corner; here is what you need to know:

 

6 Years of Magical Performances at the Sedona Performing Arts Center Events

The upcoming 2020 Winterfest will be the 6th consecutive event held in Sedona. This popular event keeps on returning due to the incredible turnout in Sedona. Each year features a handful of talented musicians from all over the country. This upcoming year’s event will have some of the best yet take to the stage. This is one of the best Sedona Performing Arts Center events!

 

The Talent

You will find brilliant artists who are rising in the music scene take the stage at Chamber Music Sedona Winterfest. Soprano Sarah Shafer will be headlining this incredible event with her operatic voice. Sarah is best known for her turn as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro at the San Diego Opera last year. She has also performed with world-famous choirs such as the Harrisburg Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and Louisiana Philharmonic.

Young pianist Roman Rabinovich will also take the stage. He is the winner of the prestigious Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. Roman is known for engaging performances found throughout Europe and the United States at world-famous venues. His work also includes appearances with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Szczecin Philharmonic, Dohnanyi Symphony, and many more.

Last but certainly not least is Alexander Fiterstein, an exceptional clarinet player who also has performances with prestigious symphonies and orchestras. While Alexander currently acts as a Clarinet Professor at the Peabody Conservatory, he has prior performances with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic, and many more.
