Three Days in March
There is so much fun packed into this exciting festival, located at Posse Grounds Park, that it will take three full days to unpack it all. Much like the car shows you like to visit, the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival offers first peeks at the newest gear, the latest bikes, and provides fantastic deals, should you be so inclined. Below we have listed some of the highlights of this festival, giving you a glance at all the fun you can have during your three days in paradise.
- Vendors Galore – Of course, there will be booth after booth of vendors selling the latest gear, including the newest mountain bikes on the market, so be prepared to give your credit cards a workout to remember.
- Demo Bike Rides – Demo bike rides are available for pass holders, giving visitors the opportunity to try before they buy their upgraded mountain bikes. Passes are distributed to registered attendees, so be sure to sign up if you want the chance to check out the goodies.
- Shuttles – 9 Trail Shuttles will be operating throughout the festival, providing easy access to some of the most beautiful biking trails in Sedona. Keep in mind that no return shuttles are offered, so you may have to make alternate arrangements if you aren’t wanting to ride back to the starting point or back to your Sedona.Org sanctuary.
- Group Rides – True mountain bike fans are lining up to participate in the group rides featured at the Sedona Bike Festival. Every day offers a new chance to ride and the schedule for all the rides can be found on their festival page
- Skills Clinics – Whether you have been riding your whole life and just want to refresh your talents or learn a few new tricks and skills or you have a kiddo that is just realizing that they want mountain biking to be their life’s goal, the plethora of skills clinics offered at the festival will take place throughout the entire three days.
But Wait, There’s More
At the risk of sounding like one of those retro Japanese knife commercials, there really is more to explore during your mountain bike adventures at the festival. The Wheel Fun Raffle gives participants the chance to do a good deed and hopefully win some truly excellent prices. The proceeds from the raffle will be used to help fund after school bike clubs, providing mountain bikes and gear to those who simply don’t have the financial means to purchase the equipment themselves.
Food, Drink, and Entertainment
Can a festival really be considered a festival if there isn’t food, drink, and music to make it even more joyful? Fortunately, that is not a question you need to answer, because the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival has all of the above! Offering a fleet of food trucks selling everything from barbecue to pizza, you will be sufficiently fueled up for participation in the group rides. The beer garden, however, may be the instigator for leisure offering the opportunity to enjoy a sunny spring day in red rock country with a cold brew and live music playing in the background. This truly is the ultimate in experiences, so if the group rides are still calling your name, maybe you can set one day aside to simply savor the moments. The entertainment portion of this exciting events, offers a different line up of Arizona musicians each year, all playing for your pleasure during the afternoon hours of the event, increasing your pleasure in the cold beer that you are enjoying.
