Visit The Sedona Dog Park

If you’re taking a trip to Sedona, don’t leave your dog behind! Our town is quite friendly for pets, and there are quite a few places that welcome dogs. There is nothing better for a high-energy pup than to visit a dog park, and Sedona has an especially nice one. Sedona Dog Park is located at 950 Soldiers Pass Road, Sedona AZ 86336. It is open from April to October each year. The hours are from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. From October 2 to March 31. The winter hours are from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. You and your best friend can get some exercise and have some fun while meeting other tourists and locals. There is a wading pool for dogs to cool themselves on hot desert days. There are several walking trails with lots of interesting vegetation to sniff.

Rules and Regulations at the Sedona Dog Park

Every dog park has its rules and Sedona is no exception. Dogs must be licensed and have all of their vaccinations. Human companions must clean up after their dogs and those dogs must wear a collar. Male dogs must be neutered.

Although dogs are allowed to play in the Sedona Dog Park without a leash, they must be leashed when they come in and out of the park. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. If a dog shows any signs of aggression, they must leave the park right away. If your dog howls or barks for over 15 minutes, you will be asked to leave.
