There is always going to be a wonderful festival or event taking place in Sedona, but not many tell stories that will speak to your heart like the Piano on the Rocks International Festival does. The stories told musically are ones of love, heartbreak, and the themes each year reflect the music, changing for each new season. The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025, and its From Paris to Sedona theme told a story that we will never forget and may have instigated a new vacation bucket list item for us. Held at Brady Hall Valley School, its mission is to bring music and literature together, comparing and contrasting how each can tell the same story differently, while also bringing the same emotions to the surface. This isn’t an event with food, beer gardens, and rowdy revelers, but it is one of passion and joy, with the music beginning at 4 PM each day. Unusual, for sure, but this later start allows attendees to sleep in later, explore the food, the shops, and the beauty of the red rocks during the early part of the day before ending the day with magic, music, and daydreams of Paris, lost loves, or whatever the theme may be during your visit to the festival.

Everyone has their own idea as to what makes leisure time special, and we try to offer the means for everyone to experience their own offering plush chairs tucked away in corners where the light is the best, and if you are a reader, you are already imagining what book you are going to read first while sank into their depths. Our baths are luxurious, spa-like spaces, but they also have a job to do, and the showers will offer updated fixtures, the hot water won’t run out before you finish filling the deep tubs, and yes, those fluffy towels you saw in the pictures really are as soft as they look. Houses with pools will offer beach towels, kitchens will have more than enough dishes to ensure that every person staying has their own setting, and as electric cars are becoming more of a thing, many of our properties will feature EV chargers, allowing guests to rent the Tesla of their dreams!

Our mission in life is to give our guests a comfortable and luxurious experience and as such we consider every detail the most important detail. Arizona wine is quickly becoming more popular than California wines, and yes, there will be wine glasses, openers, and in some of our properties, wine refrigerators, so your whites will be perfectly chilled. Televisions will be state of the art and the remotes will have working batteries and be placed in plain view—no searching under couch cushions to find them, at least not at the beginning of your stay!
