The art of gardening isn’t as popular today as it once was, and it is apparent in the homes around us. Many might have a single bed framing the front wall, a few pots with flowers spilling out at the door, or even nothing but a single lonely tree adding a touch of interest to the yard. We seem to have forgotten the thrill of secret gardens, of following trails through beds of flowers that are wild yet contained, of sitting on a quiet bench on a peaceful night, the aromas filling the air around us and the simple beauty of the flora chatting quietly with our souls. We at Sedona.Org haven’t forgotten, however, and just as we understand the more concrete needs of our guests, (air conditioning, dishwashers, and soft beds) we also believe that offering the things they never knew their hearts needed until it was placed right in front of them is equally important. So, as you sit on that bench or patio chair, with the red rocks making their presence known in the distance and the flowers and plants reminding you that beauty is important, our Sedona garden view rentals will bring you another type of magic, a magic that will be difficult to leave behind and may even encourage you to add a secret garden to your own home space!

How Do We Do It?
Maybe it is the magic of Sedona, maybe it is all our years of experience, and more likely it is a combination of both, but when you step inside our Sedona.Org vacation havens, it will feel like home but better. Peaceful rooms with plush furnishings all invite you to explore further. Find high ceilings in some, wood floors in others, and large windows in all, letting guests enjoy views of red rocks, swimming pools, and yes, the gardens that lay just outside.
We will start our tour of homes with a peek into the living room spaces, all offering a unique design that still imparts the presence of Sedona in art, paint color, and in the furnishings that reside within. Leather sectionals, velvety sofas, and the all-important overstuffed chair placed where the light is best provide the comfort, while bookshelves lined with books, games, and movies, and televisions that are either Smart or cable access provide the entertainment. In some homes, fireplaces will add romance as they guard against the chill of a winter’s night, in others brightly colored throws tossed across the back of sofas will do the same.
Dining rooms, always located within steps of our fully equipped kitchens, provide the hub of all family activities. This is where meals with a Southwest flavor will be devoured, family stories will be told for the millionth time, and games will be played, reminding us of the importance of unplugging. The rafters will ring with laughter as dad tries to cheat and mom reminds everyone that behind that cheerful smile and her warm embraces lies the heart of a pool shark! And behind all the laughter, the jokes, the stories, the magic of Sedona will continue to shine through, felt and remembered long after the return to real life. The kitchens of our garden view escapes may offer more views of those gardens still waiting to be explored, and although our thoroughly modern appliances, stylish and functional stone countertops, and expansive center islands ensure that your more concrete needs are met, the barstools in front of the islands, the scents emitting from the stoves, and the laughter that will also happen in this space, ensure that the needs of your heart will be met as well!
The Garden Awaits
Now it is time to step through French doors created with a mixture of wood and glass or sliding glass “walls” that open into the gardens we have been hinting about for far too long. Desert gardens may look slightly different than your Midwestern ones back home, but they still offer the charm that makes you want to look everywhere at once!
A rogue saguaro may stand tall in the distance, or an overgrown garden of bougainvillea may blanket the walls that surround the yard, offering a sea of fuchsia-colored blooms that add a dramatic vibrance to the space. Potted plants and flowers can add to the ambience of this outdoor space, and although you may be used to the standard terracotta planters, in the Southwest, color is king, and many pots will be as colorful as the flowers tumbling from their wide mouths! Gravel pathways may lead guests on a walking tour of the gardens, stopping for a brief respite at a bench that suddenly appears where the views of the red rocks beyond are the greatest, or multiple layers of beds may create a drama that flat gardens simply don’t possess!
The best part of our Sedona gardens may be the more functional additions, the outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, the firepits open to the stars, the multiple places to sit, relax, and eat. Or they may be the generously sized pools, the cozy hot tubs appreciated most after a day of hiking or excessive shopping, or the outdoor games that help continue on the theme of family and fun! Every garden is different, but every yard will welcome everyone who has the time to explore them!
Continuing the Tour
After you have experienced your fill of sunsets and garden views, it is time to go back inside and explore the softer side of your Sedona.Org vacation rentals Sedona AZ area! The bedrooms may be your favorite part of the home, offering rooms filled with peace and light. Primary bedrooms with en suite baths offer spa-like experiences that pamper occupants every night of their stay. The beds are destined to be large, (King sized is the most common size for our primary bedrooms and may be in many of the guest rooms as well!) topped with soft linens and poised to enjoy views of the gardens, the red rocks, or the television mounted to the wall opposite. The en suite baths may contain deep soaking tubs, steam showers, or a combination tub/shower, and may provide sample sizes of toiletries to be used in any way you choose to bathe! Some properties will provide multiple en suite baths, while some will offer at least one Jack and Jill bath which will delight the youngest members of your traveling party. Although this style is quite popular on television, it isn’t often found in “the wilds” of real life! The kiddos will adore their own bedrooms, some with multiple bunks, some with twin beds that allow siblings to sleep in the same room while maintaining their own space, and all with the cheerful ambience that helps keep the bad dreams away!
