Stay Connected While Doing Your Own Thing
The best part of homes this large is being able to stay connected, even as you spread out and are doing your own thing! Gather around the large dining room tables with your cousins and rediscover the rustic charm of playing a game of spoons, or grab one of the board games out of the cabinets and show off your competitive sides while the grandparents hang out in the living room watching state of the art televisions. Smart TVs or cable access TVs will offer hours of entertainment, and comfortable sofas placed opposite fireplaces and the television may provide the ideal napping spaces—if there is anyone in your traveling party who can sleep through the noise, that is! The kitchens of our beautiful homes are modern marvels, featuring stone countertops, expansive islands, and chef approved appliances that may just encourage your little sister to try her hand at baking a batch of cookies and because all three of these public spaces are located within steps of each other in the open concept floor plan, a joke told in the kitchen will easily be laughed at in the living room, and a win at the dining room table will be cheered over from the kitchen. See? That’s what we mean about being able to stay connected with your favorite traveling partners! On the other hand, with room for as many as 18 guests in some of our 6-bedroom properties, there may come a time when it gets a little too people-y for you, and our larger homes also offer plenty of hidden nooks and crannies where you can lose yourself in a few moments of peace and quiet. Hide away in a corner with a comfortable chair and the book you packed in your carry on, lock yourself away in one of our spacious and spa-like bathrooms for a long soak in a deep tub, scrolling through your social network sites, humming along to the music you have playing quietly in the background, and savor a sip or two of the wine you purchased at one of our local wineries earlier in the trip (Winery 1912 is a good one if you’re interested!) and feel your muscles loosen as the quiet speaks to your soul! And because virtual meetings require a quiet place, and you can’t expect the other 17 people to tiptoe around just because you can’t completely disconnect from work, some of the bedrooms may offer a desk, office equipment, and a blissfully quiet space to attend the meetings you must attend; high-speed internet is another amenity that will come in very handy in this particular instance!
Fun for the Whole Family
There’s a lot to do in Sedona, as you hike, bike, shop, or take part in colorful Jeep® tours of the red rocks, but we like to think there’s almost an equal number of fun things to do right here in our Sedona.Org 6-bedroom places to rent in Sedona AZ. Movie nights accompanied by microwaved popcorn will be especially enjoyable on the rare stormy night and the large living rooms offer plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable. We’ve mentioned board games, often found on the bookshelves and in the cabinets of our homes, but did you know that our backyard spaces are practically playgrounds for adults? Sit out on cushioned patio furniture reminiscing over past family gatherings, gather around patio tables and devour meals that were partially (if not all!) prepared on barbecue grills that have their own space of honor on the deck, or take the party a little further out after the skies darken and the stars begin twinkling and make yourself comfortable in Adirondack chairs that surround a firepit! Ghost stories will be told in these spots, coffee or cocoa may be Irish, and the memories you make will be lasting ones, but that’s not the only fun surprise these expansive yards have to offer! Some may provide putting greens that will put a smile on dad’s face, others will offer up large hot tubs that will make everyone smile, and the home you choose to temporarily make your own just may have its own personal bocce court! Some properties may offer pools that can be heated in the cooler months (Surprise! it can actually get cold in red rock country, so the winter months are not the best time to consider swimming!) These outdoor spaces are just as important to your comfort and wellbeing, and even if you do nothing more than sit outside for a few moments every evening toasting the incredible beauty of an Arizona sunset, we will consider these outdoor spaces well used!
