The Sedona International Film Festival got its start in 1995, offering a humble three-day celebration of Independent Films, their stars, and their directors, and featuring workshops that helped future stars and directors understand the craft. Approximately 30 films were shown in that first year, and in spite of its humble beginnings, there was a spark that erupted into a full-blown blaze, turning it to the exciting festival you will experience today. There are 150 films being aired at the festival this year in a variety of categories, including documentaries, features, shorts, animation, and even foreign films. The workshops are plentiful, the tributes will make you laugh as they bring a tear to your eye, and every minute of the festival is a star-studded event that will make you fall in love with the magic of movies all over again.
